Wanted to thank you for another great time fishing salmon.  Both my son-in-laws and myself had a great time.  Even with the weather and conditions against us you provided and outstanding experience with tons of fun.  I know you were somewhat disappointed with the catch, but I don’t really understand why.  I think we did great.  All the other boats were coming in “skunked” or with only one fish while you found the right spots to have four BIG salmon, two lake trout and a real nice  steelhead. I can’t believe there is a better fishing Captain on the lakes than you.

Yesterday was my first, and Bob’s second charter with Captain John.  There were three of us and we limited out on nice fish.  John has very up to date equipment and is highly respected among the area charter captains.  He has exceptional knowledge of the lake, fish locations and how changing weather conditions affect the movement of fish.  This makes John very effective in his business. John has a calm helpful manner with his customers.  This was my son’s first charter and John was very easy in his coaching of this first time fisherman.  By the end of the day we lost very few fish hooked.  John also is very honest and I’d recommend John’s service to anyone.

My fishing trip with Lucky line fishing charter service on Sunday July 21st(afternoon) was a very good time! John the captain could not of done a better job.  I was lucky enough to catch one very nice fish, we caught several other fish also.

Hi John – wanted to send you a note thanking you again for what I considered a Bucket List fishing trip last year!  I was apprehensive at first going out on the Big Lake  – but once on board you were so accommodating (to a bunch of girls) and fun to fish with.  My step daughter Sarah and I are proud of our pictures of the big fish we caught that day and still brag about it.  I still can’t believe how much of a fight those big fish put up — that’s what made it so exhilarating!   Being my first chartered fishing trip, I have to say you set the bar pretty high!  You were the best fishing guide (Charter Captain) not too mention patient but fun with all us girls!  Heck you did all the work – we just reeled them in – my kind of fishing trip!
My husband wants just the boys to go out and try to beat our numbers!

Thanking you again for what I considered a Bucket List fishing trip!

We booked a salmon charter with Captain John for July.  When booking our charter Captain John was very knowledgable and friendly.  He offered to help us find lodging and also told me to call closer to our trip for fishing updates.  We spoke to him several times prior to our outing to receive fishing updates.  Captain John is one of the most honest people you will meet.  He called us the night before our charter to let us know that the salmon were not in the area.  He offered to let us cancel or take us walleye fishing.  We chose to go walleye fishing and had a great time.  We limited out!  Captain John made sure we enjoyed ourselves while ensuring we were comfortable on his boat.  We would definitely book another charter with Captain John and recommend his services to those interested in a fun filled fishing time.
